Q. Why then do you now offer a hard base option?

Q. Do you ship internationally?

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

Q. What maintanence is required?
A. Your RPole is built to a very high standard in the UK with quality precision machined materials. As such it requires very little in the way of maintenance and will provide years of trouble free service. The user manual includes a maintenance section. We recommend your RPole is wiped down after use and stored away from potential damage and knocks in a dry place.

The Spinning Boss must not be allowed to get wet or stored where condensation can occur (in the car boot or van in cold weather for instance) as the bearings will not spin freely due to corrosion within the bearing that will be caused by water damage. The bearings supplied are sealed but moisture can still get into the bearings. (The static boss is not affected by this).

Q. I can't remove the pole from the boss
A. This is most likely due to the 'O' ring drying out or if you have left the pole in the boss for some days. We recommend lubricating the 'O' rings with a small amount of silicone oil to keep them working correctly and to stop fitting or removal problems. Silicone oil can be purchased from our web site at: www.r-polefitness.com/Pure_Silicone_Oil_p/oil.htm

Q. I can't fit the pole fully into the boss
A. The problem is the pole has been 'dropped' into the boss and this has damaged the 'D' lock located at the bottom of the boss. (The D lock prevents the pole from 'spinning' in use). The poles have to be gently lowered into the boss to prevent this damage occurring. Here is a video that shows correct installation: www.r-polefitness.com/help_answer.asp?ID=17#272

If this part is damaged we can send a replacement part for this at a cost of £38.00 plus £12 shipping or you may be able to repair this yourself?

To Replace: Remove the non slip rubber pad, this will expose 3 screws. Undo the screws and remove the part. Replace with the new part in the boss and tighten the 3 screws and fit new (supplied) non slip rubber.

To Repair: If you peel back the non slip rubber pad this will expose 3 screws. Undo the screws and remove the part. With a small file you can file flat the damage and test this on the end of the pole to make sure it fits ok. Once this fits simply place the part back in the boss and tighten the 3 screws and reapply the non slip rubber.

Q. Will it rust?
A.
Water and poles do not go together for all the obvious reasons. The hard base, frame ring and spinning boss must NOT get wet or be stored in damp conditions under any circumstances. The pole is manufactured using stainless steel and aluminium which will not rust, however if left wet aluminium will show white spots and may dis-colour. The bearings in the spinny boss (static boss not affected) may become stiff or seize if allowed to get wet. It is always best stored in a dry area and not left in damp conditions this includes boot / trunks of cars or vans in high / low temperature conditions. If your pole does get wet then it must be dried as soon as possible and wiped clean with a soft cloth. If the bearings get wet then apply WD40 inside both sets of bearings. The frame is designed for use indoors or outside in dry conditions and may rust if left for prolonged periods in the wet or allowed to get wet and not dried.

Q. Is the RPole waterproof?

Q. If my pole develops a fault, what should I do?
A. Notify us immediately of any faults and these will be immediately attended too. If you are outside the 12 month guarantee we will still be able to advise and in some cases can repair the fault free of charge unless caused by misuse or neglect.

Q. What's the best way to keep the poles clean?
A. To clean the (all) poles we recommend soft cloth and clean water with a non abrasive antibacterial spray or similar. Neat Vodka also works well!

Q. Will another manufactures pole fit theRPole Base
A. No only poles made for the RPole will fit.

Intended Use

Your RPole is designed for Pole Fitness and is unsuitable for any other type of exercise or use. The base is designed for optimum lightness and balance for ease of transport. The RPole is designed for controlled moves, spins and transitions within the frame area. It is NOT suitable for excessive lateral moves or spins due to its lightweight design unless hard base fitted or with the Professional frame option.

Moves which put significant lateral force or momentum onto the pole will require the fitting of a hard base and / or safety mat.

Important Key Information

RPole is precision made to ensure a tight sure fit once assembled. Take care of your RPole by not allowing the ends of the pole to be knocked or dropped against hard surfaces.

Your stainless steel pole may have fine scratches or marks where machined, this is perfectly normal and will not affect the performance of your pole in any way. As this is a quality stainless steel the surface will not peel like inferior chrome poles if scratched.

NEVER DROP THE POLE INTO THE BOSS OR FORCE IT AS THIS WILL DAMAGE THE BOSS AND INVALIDATE YOUR GUARANTEE

Gently lower the pole into the boss and rotate to engage the ‘D’ lock (static only).
Spinning Poles must be tightened against the flat edge of the spindle ONLY otherwise this can damage the spindle
To insert the pole gently lower the pole into the boss and when the ‘D’ lock engages gently push down to engage into the boss. Spinning boss requires the pole to be inserted without locating a ‘D’ lock.
Your RPole is precision manufactured to fit perfectly together. Always take great care of the pole and prevent damage to the spindle.
Do not expose your RPole to rain or high humidity or leave wet or in damp conditions.
Maximum user body weight 100 kg.
When setting up your pole ensure that the frame legs are inserted fully into the boss and frame ring lock fitted.
Never use your pole without the frame ring.
Do not add extra weight or fix your pole base to the floor as this may cause damage to your RPole.
Replace any defective parts immediately.
Do not use the pole until it has been fully repaired.  Contact us immediately for replacement parts.
IN THE EVENT OF A PROBLEM NEVER FORCE ANY PART AS THIS WILL INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY.

Safety Instructions

To avoid injuries and/or accidents please read and follow these simple rules:

Always ensure you have correctly installed your pole to the manufacture guidelines given in this manual.

Ensure your pole is on a solid flat and even surface.

Check before use and regularly during use that all parts are secure.
Never leave your R-pole unattended. Remove the pole or fit a safety pole barrier.

When assembling the equipment please make sure you have enough space around and above it.
Always wipe down your pole with clean and dry towelling cloths to keep it hygienically clean. Use plain water for cleaning with a mild disinfectant and a dry cloth to finish.
Before using the pole, remove all body jewellery and sharp clothing objects, or cover them up, to prevent injuries, damage or scratches to the pole.
Avoid wearing loose or hanging material from your clothing which may entangle around your Pole.
