Medical Endorsement for the R Pole
Stephen Deadman is one of the UK’s most qualified and renowned Chartered Physio’s & Registered Osteopath’s and also one of only 11 in the world who is dual registered. Stephen treats some of the top athlete’s in the world, including The British Barefoot Waterskiing Team, British Kickboxing Champions, Body Builders, Power Lifters and other World Class Athletes, whilst also treating many pole instructors and students too.
We asked Stephen to give us a better understanding as to why he felt, in his professional capacity the 38mm pole was safer and beneficial piece of equipment than the 50mm pole for all pole people practicing the art of pole dance, fitness and sport.
Stephen’s reply; “Based on my experience as a registered osteopath and chartered physiotherapist the 38mm pole as adverse to the 50mm is a safer pole because of less physiological and biomechanical stresses and strains which are placed upon the user’s carpal row of bones and ligaments in the wrist where the 38mm pole offers a safer grip”.
He went on to say; “Very simply the 38mm R Pole, is in my professional opinion, a safer pole, not only because of the ability for the participant to be able to have a safer grip but also because it comes fitted with a safety mat as standard, reducing any potential risk of damage to the coccyx and sacroiliac joint (lower points of the spine) when a participant begins to invert (go up side down). If you have a safer hand grip it takes less time to build up your core strength without picking up minor injuries, which is essential to this sport and your personal fitness”.
Steve has studied the artistic tricks and moves on and around a vertical pole at length from beginner to Master Trainer status, which coupled with his profound and extensive physiological and bio-mechanical knowledge allows us to confidently say that the 38mm R Pole is beneficial for helping you safely attain your optimum pole fitness

'3 years innovating a product EVERYONE said could not, would not, work. The day we tested it I was given a letter stating it would fail.
After testing they asked for the letter back... Its now framed above my desk.

R Pole Free Standing: The R Pole is probably the best free standing pole available at the moment. It is simple to construct, fairly lightweight for its catogory and compacts very well. My preference is the 38mm pole so the R Pole is a great portable option for me.
R Pole Floor to Ceiling Poles: You can feel the quality of the R Pole as soon as you have your hands on it. Spinning, the poles are flawless. The bearings are produced in the UK and are smooth. Pure Quality.

Could you pass a message to the R-pole team and Steve for me please? I met him on Saturday and I tried out the R-pole....I absolutely loved it and i've decided to not go for the garden version but the full version (and get rid of my [other] pole in my house completely) It was an incredible pole and nothing else feels right now!

'I loved using the R-pole, just the fact that it takes minutes to put up is fantastic!
I love the fact that you can maximise any pole move by having a smaller pole
but still excellent grip and make moves more elegant and tidy.
I absolutely can't wait to teach classes on them!
Thanks Guy's for inventing it!!!'

Hi guys!
'I loved the R-Pole when I first tried it!
I think the fact that it's so portable and versatile is brilliant.
The speed of putting it up and taking it down is a major bonus when fitting classes in between other gym classes.
Looking forward to seeing how it develops with attachments etc
The 38mm does take a little bit of getting used to - makes you use those thigh muscles a lot more in cross ankle releases etc!
Bring on classes in village halls with their silly pitched roofs!
I think this will take poling to a whole new level!
Can't wait until Monday - I'll be on the phone at 12, credit card in hand - whoop!
Well done guys!'

hi
very much want to be ordering one next week!!
i loved the feel of the 38 pole - the grip from the smaller size plus the stainless steal pole is better than anything i have had the pleasure of spinning around. the pole itself feels very stable, and is so easy to put together (and i say that from experience)
i really cant wait to get my hands on one again!
i love the r-pole and have been telling everyone about it! they all want one now too!!
i cant wait :)

'The pole was very easy to assemble and is an absolute dream to "trick out" on:- comfy for handsprings and spins and the matted base was comfortable to land on and would be very reassuring to beginners and more advanced trixters alike. Any "bowing" of the pole due to it's freestandingness couldn't be felt at all while using it. Unlike other portable stages I've tried it didn't have a massive drop to the floor, a painfully hard base or move accross the floor of it's own accord(!).
The only downside was not being able to distract everyone long enough to steal it.
Can't wait to buy one and have beach and park jams in the Sussex sunshine!
Love and Inverts,'

"We were very impressed with the R-Pole when we trialled it, sturdy, lightweight, easily portable and requires hardly any storage space! A fantastic concept. Well done guys." Pippa from Polenastics

'It sounds like an amazing product. I cant wait to try it out!. Can you send me a price list. As i would like to start selling it on www.poledanceireland.com if possible. We are the only Pole Dance Company in Ireland to sell a selection of dance poles. Would it be possible for our company to be the main distributors in Ireland? '
Kind regards

'What did I think of the pole? It's a decent pole for health clubs and other venues which are new to pole dancing and want a safe, portable, easily stored pole (or set of poles!). Perfect for venues with drop or false ceilings.'
